Our client is a prestigious international law firm with a strong global presence across all major legal and financial centres. Renowned for its legal excellence and elite client base, the firm regularly advises on high-profile, complex, cross-border transactions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Banking & Finance Lawyer (NQ–2 PQE) to join the Madrid office of this Tier 1-ranked Banking & Finance practice. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside leading England & Wales qualified lawyers on sophisticated, English-law governed finance matters within a dynamic and truly international team.

Key Responsibilities

Work directly with Partners and Senior Associates on a broad range of finance transactions, including :
Project finance
Structured finance
General banking and debt finance matters
Collaborate on high-profile, cross-border mandates with colleagues across the firm’s global offices.
Engage with a diverse and prestigious client base, contributing to complex and market-leading transactions.

Candidate Profile

England & Wales qualified, with 0–2 years PQE from a leading UK, US, or international law firm.

Demonstrated experience in at least one finance seat during training, ideally covering corporate, structured, leveraged, or real estate finance.

Strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset, with exposure to English-law governed finance work.

Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable in a client-facing environment.

Spanish language skills are an advantage but not essential.
