As a DTL , you will provide support and leadership to Store Managers and all stores within the organization. The incumbent will report directly to the Director of Sales.
The DTL will be responsible for executing operational procedures and / or systems to ensure all Store Sales Managers and Sales Representatives maintain their stores at optimal sales levels and are equipped with the necessary tools, procedures, and knowledge to lead their staff and run profitable stores.
The DTL will oversee the strategic and operational management of a specific District. The District Manager is someone who inspires, coaches, mentors, and develops team members, drives sales, and ensures customers have an exceptional experience. The candidate will :
Create strategies to meet district sales objectives and ensure stores remain profitable
Coach and develop teams to deliver exceptional leadership skills and optimal client experiences, inspiring positive sales behavior
Build trusting relationships with teams through purposeful visits with operational focus to improve business results
Utilize sales and leadership experience, along with innovative approaches, to lead through periods of business and technological change
Assess and improve the customer service skills of all retail staff to enhance customer satisfaction rates
Evaluate the industry knowledge of all retail staff, including Store Managers, Managers in Training, Assistant Managers, and Sales Representatives
Assist in arranging training for new retail hires in collaboration with HR
Identify training gaps and create action plans for immediate improvement
Implement formal progress reviews at 3, 6, and 12 months, measuring customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and employee turnover
You are someone who :
Possesses at least three (3) years of experience managing multiple units in retail or telecom industry
Has 3-5 years of proven retail management experience
Has strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry, with analytical and budgeting skills to analyze financial reports
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective decision-making abilities
Demonstrates strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Is willing and able to travel across the GTA, including some weekends and evenings
