About the team

Our AWS Operations team is the foundation of our entire business ensuring that our complex high-scale infrastructure runs reliably securely and efficiently 24 / 7. We are seeking an inspirational and technical Engineering Manager to lead our AWS Operations team. This team is the core guardian of our critical infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services.

What youll do

• Inspiring Leadership & Culture : Be the catalyst for creating a positive atmosphere and demonstrate role model leadership to shape the culture of the team.
• People Growth : Grow people in their technical expertise and career path supporting learning opportunities for each engineer (training certifications mentoring etc.) and focusing on growing a high-performing team.
• Operational Excellence : Establish short and long term delivery strategy for the team and ensure stakeholders are informed. This includes setting ways of working that enable the team to perform with high autonomy high alignment and a streamlined operational process.
• Automation & Efficiency : Champion a culture of automation continually seeking opportunities to eliminate toil and enable the team for automation over repetitive work thereby increasing efficiency and reducing manual work.
