We are looking for Design engineer with experience in the wind power sector. You will join the Design team being involved in different projects and programs.
Your missions will be :
Design and develop wind turbine components and systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed models and drawings of wind turbine structures and components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, structural, and electrical engineers, to integrate subsystems into cohesive wind energy solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine suitable locations for wind farm installations.
Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC 61400 and relevant environmental and safety regulations.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation processes to verify design performance and reliability.
Support manufacturing and installation teams by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues.
Continuously research and implement advancements in wind energy technology to enhance system efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
Mandatory skills :
At least 3 years of experience in a sector and equivalent position
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Spanish C1 Level and Minimum C1 level in English, French would be a plus
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and wind energy simulation tools (e.g., WAsP, WindPRO).
Strong understanding of wind turbine design principles, aerodynamics, and structural analysis.
Familiarity with international standards and regulations governing wind energy systems.
Soft skills :
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
