About the role

As a Senior AQA Engineer , you will ensure the quality and reliability of products by designing and executing thorough test cases while collaborating closely with development teams. This role combines manual and automated testing skills, contributes to Agile processes, and influences product quality across cloud-based applications. You will gain professional growth in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute thorough manual test cases and test scripts based on system specifications and requirements.
  • Develop multiple test scenarios, including non-traditional test cases, negative testing, edge cases, and performance considerations to ensure robust product validation.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements, plan testing processes, and identify issues for correction.
  • Create detailed logs to document testing phases and identify defects.
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams, primarily using Jira.
  • Troubleshoot issues and help identify root causes of defects.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test reports, and other test documentation, with experience in tools like xRay.
  • Actively participate in Agile-Scrum development processes, providing feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience with automation testing with Python .
  • Experience with Selenium .
  • Willingness to do manual testing.
  • Proven experience in planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts.
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, xRay, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Availability to work EST hours .
  • Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic database knowledge (e.g., MySQL, Postgres).
  • Experience testing application software hosted in the cloud (AWS preferred).
  • Ability to think creatively to develop multiple scenarios and include non-traditional test cases, negative testing, and edge cases.
  • Quick learner with a passion for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive, dynamic work approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including priority management and adaptability.
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.

  • Experience with Karate.
