DS&A TM1 Business Enablement Lead – R&D role at Sanofi. Global scope within the Decision Support & Analytics (DS&A) team, covering the Research & Development Global Function.
Location : Barcelona

Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert for TM1 & Reporting Insight solutions within the R&D perimeter
- Lead the deployment of TM1 solutions for R&D in line with strategic and functional TM1 Core Model standards, ensuring Master Data Management, data integrity, and user support & training across Controlling Operations & R&D Finance teams
- Coordinate with Head of Data Visualisation & Dashboarding to deploy Reporting Insight solutions
- Deliver Reporting Insights aligned with R&D Finance & Controlling Operations requirements
- Translate complex business requirements into TM1 / PowerBI designed solutions
- Ensure project management methodology is followed to develop, test & deploy project phases
- Monitor progress to meet milestones; manage risks / issues
- Engage with project stakeholders & governance bodies to facilitate decision-making and escalation
- Prepare and transition required SLAs / KPIs / Knowledge Transfer & Training, plus Functional & Operational documentation to Controlling Operation teams

Own the project deployment lifecycle for standardised global TM1 / Reporting Insight solutions for the R&D perimeter, aligned with Group strategyScoping, definition and design of business requirements with stakeholdersLead TM1 design models to meet business needs and Group objectivesDocument operational view on architecture for new or changed modules, ensuring scalability and standardized processesEscalate issues / change requests to TM1 Project GovernanceManage project teams to deliverables and milestonesManage functional processes including knowledge transfer and initial Controlling Operations trainingContribute to best practice sharing and continuous improvement; provide expertise as neededEnsure effective change management across stakeholdersContribute to project governance processes and oversee global / regional / local steering committeesDesign & Implementation
Support Global Process Leads in gathering process flow and requirementsLead gap analyses and TM1 design documentation; produce design specificationsLead TM1 design activities to align with business needs and Group objectivesLead deployment activities using appropriate methodologies; coach teams accordinglyPresent status reports to sponsors and stakeholdersIdentify and communicate risks / issues to project / program managementMonitor progress, address change requests, and propose model updates to Steering CommitteesTesting & Training
Ensure robust System Integration TestingDefine data and user acceptance testing criteriaCoordinate user acceptance testsProduce TM1 functional documentation and transition knowledge to Controlling OperationsSupport creation of TM1 Operational documentation with Controlling Operations teamsChange Management
Together with Global Process Owner teams, perform change management activities including :
Impact assessment of process changesContribute to communicationsSet up action plans and allocate rolesBe a change agent promoting benefits of proposed changesParticipate in workshops with relevant stakeholdersAbout You
Professional Experience
5+ years in Finance environments with exposure to Global / Regional teamsTrack record in controlling / accounting and financial reporting; experience in Pharmaceuticals or Consumer Products preferredExperience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements in Finance system projectsStrong TM1 knowledge is advantageousUnderstanding of R&D Finance Operational activities is advantageousKey Skills & Competencies
Advanced understanding of Project Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)Broad understanding of controlling and end-to-end reporting processes; familiarity with SAP, TM13+ years’ experience implementing systems across multiple countries / scopesKnowledge of TM1 modelling and design approachesAbility to translate complex needs into clear processes and frameworksProject management of complex initiatives with multiple stakeholdersFluent in written and spoken EnglishStrong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with cultural awarenessAbility to train and coach team membersProactive with a focus on delivering results; self-motivated and resilientAutonomous with strong self-management and adaptabilityMain Interfaces / Relationships
