Regulatory Reporting Officer – CDI

The Reporting and Data Integration Officer is responsible for accurate and timely preparation, validation, and submission of various financial regulatory reports in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. The role also involves interpreting regulatory changes, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.

Main responsibilities :

  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports in different formats such as XML, for authorities including CNMV, Banco de España, CSSF, the Central Bank of Luxembourg, and relevant Tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Investigate and analyze variances or data inconsistencies independently, escalating material findings to management as appropriate.
  • Research and interpret regulatory requirements, ensuring their accurate implementation within operational reporting processes.
  • Liaise with business units to clearly communicate reporting requirements and collect the necessary data inputs.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, data accuracy, and overall compliance.
  • Contribute to internal projects related to regulatory changes, process optimization, or technology implementation.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support the team by undertaking additional duties outside the immediate scope of the role when needed.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s in finance or relevant regulatory and financial reporting knowledge prevalent in banking / financial institutions, with a strong IT tool knowledge
  • Relevant experience in a similar position will be valuable
  • Good knowledge of investment funds, main financial products, and alternative investments
  • Fluent in English, any other European language (Spanish or French) is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office, data analysis, and SQL experience
