Job Purpose

Goal-oriented, hands-on and a strong team player with excellent communication skills, this role reports directly to the Director of Communications. It is responsible for defining and implementing the global corporate communications plan in alignment with business objectives and the group. The position oversees international external communications across key markets, integrating corporate, consumer and PR approaches. It manages media relations, spokesperson programs and high-impact PR campaigns to strengthen brand awareness and reputation. The role also leads crisis and issues communications, ensuring consistent and timely messaging across all stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

Corporate Communications

- Definition and management of the global corporate communications strategy, aligned with business objectives.

- Development of tailored communication plans to support lobbying, sustainability and other strategic corporate initiatives.

- Design of campaigns and tactical initiatives to influence public opinion and engage relevant KOLs.

- Execution and monitoring of communication activities in line with agreed objectives.

- Alignment, coordination and execution of communication plans and actions with the IAG Group, including corporate announcements, quarterly and annual financial results, key messages and Q&A.

International Markets Communications Plan

- Design and supervise the international external communications strategy, integrating corporate and consumer approaches across key markets (Italy, France and the UK).

- Oversight of local communication plans and execution in each market.

- Review and approval of external communication materials, including key messages, press releases, narratives and media kits.

Coordination with communication agencies and external partners across - international markets.

PR Strategy and Media Relations

- Management of international media relations. Strong knowledge of the media landscape, with experience in the UK and French markets considered a strong asset.

- Development and execution of the spokesperson programme, including mapping, training, interview coordination and support for public appearances.

- Design and delivery of PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility across earned media channels.

Crisis & Issues Communications

- Lead communications during operational disruptions and corporate crises.

- Development, implementation and governance of communication protocols and manuals, including crisis response, cyber incident or operational disruptions.

- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure speed, consistency and message alignment.

Content Development & Communication Materials

- Creation and oversight of press materials, including press releases and official statements.

- Development and approval of corporate communication materials, including key messages, presentations, talking points and Q&A documents.

Experience

10 years of experience leading communications functions, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar senior role. Proven experience implementing campaigns across multiple markets and coordinating activities with communication agencies and internal stakeholders.

- Outstanding expertise in corporate and consumer communication strategies.

- Strong strategic vision, deep knowledge of communication strategies and channels, and the ability to effectively execute initiatives both through teams and hands-on when required.

- Hands-on approach combined with a positive and proactive attitude.

- Ability to operate effectively within a complex, influence-based matrix organization, engaging senior stakeholders and gaining buy-in for new approaches and ways of working.

- Resilient and effective under pressure.

Languages

Fluent or bilingual English required.
