Job Description

We are seeking a Waiter / Waitress to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Food & Beverage supervisor, your responsibilities will include preparing drinks as per guest preferences, serving food, and creating relaxing, memorable experiences for guests. You will support Food & Beverage operations, representing the face of our guests' experience and ensuring they have a great time from arrival to departure.

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for guests to unwind and enjoy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and cleanliness.
• Describe menu items and drinks vividly, highlighting their origin, taste, and preparation.
• Set up your outlet, stock supplies, and manage inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the work area.
• Assist with other duties as needed, including serving in different outlets like room service, bar, or terrace.
• Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant staff to deliver seamless service.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide attentive and intuitive service, anticipating guest needs.
• Assess customer preferences and make suitable recommendations.
• Address guest dissatisfaction promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Accurately close guest checks and handle payments, including voided checks or complimentary items.
• Adhere to safety and HACCP standards.
