SEEKING : DBA Cloud

We are looking for a profesional with solid experience as an Oracle / SQL / Postgres / MySQL production and development DBA. With Cloud experience, Preferably Google Cloud Platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :

• Design, develop and deploy automation systems for administration and data-handling tasks.
• Maintain database and data warehouse on premise and cloud environments. Implement tool upgrades and patches.
• Migrate legacy databases to the Cloud.
• Execute and translate into operational excellence the database architecture roadmaps and specific plans to implement them
• Database capacity planning, version upgrades and migrations
• Proactively monitor production database systems, analyze findings, formulate recommendations, and work with the database Architect to implement recommendation
• Ensure database standards are followed and implemented
• Usage of new database features
• Patch testing and deployment
• Performance and scalability goals
• High availability and disaster recovery goals
• Data security and protection
• Functionality, stress, and load testing
• Review procedures and technical documentation
• Work to meet project deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities, organize information and escalate issues appropriately
• Participation in multiple projects concurrently.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

► 3+ years’ experience as an Oracle / SQL / Postgres / MySQL production and development DBA.

► Cloud experience (GCP / AWS / Azure / etc) ->

Preferably Google Cloud Platform

► Scripting and tuning

► Linux

► DB Tools / Utilities (e.g., Toad, Enterprise Manager, SQL Developer, RMAN, EXPDP etc.)

► Compliance and ITIL initiatives (SOX, PCI, etc.)
