As a Blade Specialist Service Engineer, you will be a key technical reference for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine blades in operation. You will collaborate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and engineering departments to ensure high-quality and efficient blade service execution. Your focus will be on technical excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across all blade-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Technical Oversight : Review inspection reports and classify blade damages.
- Technical Oversight : Create and monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) within internal systems.
- Technical Oversight : Define repair plans and produce technical sketches for critical repairs in alignment with engineering guidelines.
- Technical Oversight : Support rotor balancing analysis based on blade condition and operational data.
- Technical Oversight : Supervise and follow up on blade repairs to ensure quality and compliance.
- Team & Contractor Coordination : Coordinate internal and subcontracted resources for blade inspections and repairs.
- Team & Contractor Coordination : Provide accurate activity forecasts to external and internal teams.
- Team & Contractor Coordination : Deliver technical training and development support to subcontractors.
- Team & Contractor Coordination : Conduct QHSE audits on wind farms and repair sites.
- Project & Budget Management : Plan long-term budgets for blade maintenance and repair activities.
- Project & Budget Management : Manage purchase orders : ensure timely creation, cost booking, invoice review, and closure.
- Stakeholder Communication : Handle customer technical claims and provide clear, solution-oriented responses.
- Stakeholder Communication : Align closely with local operations and service teams to ensure consistent execution.

Qualifications
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials or similar).Proven expertise and knowledge in blade design, manufacturing, and repair processes.Minimum 8 years of experience in wind turbine service or a related technical field.Advanced English level (C1 or higher).Strong communication and coordination skills with both technical and non-technical teams.Ability to lead technical discussions, manage contractors, and work independently in a dynamic environment.Benefits
