Descripción del trabajo5+ years of experience in QA or test engineering , with a strong hands-on mindset. Proven experience in automated testing of APIs and backend systems. Familiarity with tools like Postman, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured , etc. Proficiency in test scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.). Experience with CI / CD pipelines and Git-based workflows . Solid understanding of agile development, SDLC, and QA best practices . Excellent communication and collaboration skills . API Quality Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled API Quality Engineer to join our team. As the first dedicated QA owner, you will be responsible for defining and leading our quality assurance strategy across our API platform and partner integrations.
- Define and lead the QA strategy across our API platform and partner integrations.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks (API, regression, load testing, etc.).
- Owning and executing test plans, cases, and documentation for product releases and deployments.
- Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and DevOps to embed quality into every stage of development.
- Monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting bugs and performance issues.
- Establishing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines with automated test coverage (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
