Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Job Description Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) teams are focused in helping key clients that include global banks and retailers and other merchants, as well as local FinTech’s and governments. Our goal is to help clients solve strategic payment challenges and identify opportunities by supporting in benchmarking, ideation, definition, implementation, and monitoring of recommendations. Resulting in our clients receiving end-to-end support that help them achieve scale, competitive advantage, and speed to market in the digital age.

Exemplary projects :

How can a retail bank drive activation and usage of payment solutions (e.g., cards) in specific customer segments?

How can an airline build and enhance its payment value proposition for consumers and / or small businesses?

How can a credit card issuer use emerging technologies like open banking to acquire new customers?

How can an acquirer or merchant better understand customer loyalty?

VCA engages clients throughout Europe and is organised in teams within, UK & Ireland, South Europe, Nordics & Baltics, Central Eastern Europe, and Central Europe. The current position is to join our Global Graduate programme within the Southern Europe cluster and is based in Madrid, Spain.

Day to day responsibilities of a Graduate Consultant :

Help drive business insights with data gathering and market trend analysis thanks to our superb data analytics powered by Visa data.

Support the VCA team in the delivery of projects for Visa clients across various domains, from payments, digital, products to strategy, including project management.

Co-lead strategy to market activities including but not limited to workshops, client meetings, content development etc.

Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data with some guidance.

Conduct market research and data analysis to identify insights in the payment industry.

Support senior consultants in developing and delivering high-quality advisory solutions to clients, such as business strategy, product development & pricing, customer segmentation and customer experience improvement.

Therefore, our requirements are few :

Graduated in 2025 or graduating summer 2026 – ready start the role on September 1st 2026.

Full, permanent, right to work in Spain. Visa will not provide sponsorship for this role.

Effective communication skills – Oral and written fluency in Spanish is required in addition to high level of English (written / spoken).

Proficient storytelling, including delivery of executive documents and presentations

Curious mindset with an interest in solving problems alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills, driving insight from data analysis.

Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills.

Interest in technology and the payments industry
