Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineer to support the Galileo Project management. The Galileo Project is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), the EUSpace flagship programme, funded and owned by the EU.
The position is based in San Martín de la Vega, Madrid. We are looking for a versatile senior engineer with experience in project management to be part of our Engineering team.
The tasks encompass the following activities :
- Definition, review and maintenance of the baseline applicable to site infrastructure
- Contribution to the management and analysis of key performance indicators, and risks, related to the site's management and the activities reports in the frame of the site's hosting service progress meetings;
- Provide technical support to CCBs, ARBs, site coordination schedule / action planning;
- Organization and / or participation to the site related milestones; in particular the site surveys, the site's acceptance. Support EUSPA either as reviewing entity or as reviewed entity;
- Contribution to the preparation and implementation of hosting infrastructure, storage and configuration changes, in particular ICD documentation and physical adaptations, including possible installation of CFIs.

In line with security requirements of the project the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state. This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
