The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building scalable, high-quality data solutions and is comfortable working across the full data lifecycle. Spanish fluency is required as part of this role, with B2 English needed for global collaboration.

✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer .
  • Strong proficiency with Python and SQL for backend and data-centric development.
  • Experience with ETL / ELT pipeline design and orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, or custom frameworks).
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts , and version control tools such as Git .
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) .
  • Proven experience with CI / CD automation and infrastructure as code in data environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Spanish ; English fluent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Develop and maintain robust ETL / ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL to ensure efficient data flow and transformation.
  • Create efficient, reusable data processing components and automation frameworks.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain database and data warehouse structures to ensure data integrity, performance, and governance.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.
  • Participate in CI / CD pipeline implementation and deployment of containerized data applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
  • Implement data governance standards , including lineage tracking, documentation, security, and GDPR compliance .
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering, cloud platforms, and automation .
