QA Engineer
to join a
software engineering team located in Barcelona (Poblenou)
, collaborating with global teams in Europe, the US, and Japan, and participating in projects such as
3D simulation, drives configuration / programming, and industrial networks software
within the
industrial automation
field.
Your mission will be to
ensure the quality of a global industrial software platform
, executing both manual and automated tests, working closely with QA and software engineers across international locations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing and automation processes.
What will be your main responsibilities? Transform requirements into software specifications. Translate software specifications into Features and User Stories Make test plans and execute them : manual and automated testing. Extend test automation and continuous integration systems. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the software. Identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions. Collaborate in a Scrum environment with multidisciplinary and international teams.
What do you need for this role? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar. Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer, covering the full product development cycle. Experience in the industrial automation domain. Desirable knowledge in Industrial Automation Applications
: PLC, Sensors, Motion Control, Inverter, Servo, Robotics, Simulation.... Hands-on experience in defining and executing
functional and regression testing
testing Desktop applications
and / or Web / Mobile environments. Solid background in
manual and automated testing
, preferably with tools such as
TestComplete
(or similar). High level of English (daily use in an international environment). Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, teamwork spirit, and motivation to contribute to innovative projects.
