Freelance Opportunity : IT Procurement Consultant – Barcelona (Hybrid). Start date : asap. Duration : until end of the year, with possibility of extension.
Role
IT Procurement Consultant to support digital and technology procurement initiatives. This freelance role requires a proactive professional with strong sourcing, negotiation, and contract management expertise in IT categories such as software, consultancy, and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT procurement sourcing projects (software, consultancy, etc.).
- Align with internal stakeholders on technology and digital procurement needs.
- Define sourcing strategies and manage procurement projects.
- Conduct RFX processes (RFI / RFP / RFQ) based on business requirements.
- Coordinate technical specifications with business teams.
- Manage vendor communications, proposals, and negotiations.
- Maintain and manage vendor relationships and communications.
- Analyze contract terms for compliance and commercial alignment.
- Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Legal, Procurement Office) to ensure contract adherence.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors.
- Oversee execution of contract amendments and addenda.
