What are you going to do?

As a Data / SQL Performance Engineer, you focus on designing, developing, and fine-tuning complex SQL queries and data models to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will play a crucial role in supporting data access across systems and improving the performance of business-critical applications.

Your responsibilities include :

• Designing and implementing advanced SQL queries, including CTEs, window functions, and complex aggregations.
• Optimizing existing queries and database structures using indexing, partitioning, and other tuning techniques.
• Analyzing query execution plans (EXPLAIN / EXPLAIN ANALYZE) to detect and resolve bottlenecks.
• Developing and maintaining reusable query patterns and templates for consistent and efficient data access.
• Collaborating with application developers to ensure data models align with business and frontend requirements.
• Ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency across multiple environments.
• Documenting query logic, data flows, and optimization strategies for internal knowledge sharing.
