Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and analysis on contractual issues for project procurement where Systra Ibérica is involved.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements related to SYSTRA Ibérica’s projects worldwide.
- Support contract negotiations and act as a key liaison for internal and external parties during negotiations and contract execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, partners, subcontractors, and legal advisors on legal matters.
- Understand active projects and upcoming tenders to provide legal support.
- Advise internal stakeholders, identify legal risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Engage with management to meet legal and corporate compliance goals through training.
- Liaise with insurance brokers and external legal counsels regarding projects and tenders.
- Draft legal notices and manage dispute resolution processes.
- Manage local corporate processes, including governance and compliance, in coordination with Systra’s group legal team.
- Participate in the Systra Group legal network.
Educational Background
Law Degree (LLM or PhD); admission as a solicitor in Spain is advantageous.Language Skills
Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken).Fluent in English (written and spoken).French and Portuguese are a plus but not mandatory.Strong knowledge of Spanish public procurement, engineering, and D&B / construction contracts is mandatory.Proven experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with prior in-house experience following law firm work.Experience in construction, transport, engineering sectors, or energy / water sectors is required.What We Offer
