Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Investment – China market to lead the identification, attraction, and development of investment opportunities from China. The primary focus of this role is to establish and maintain strong relationships with Chinese investors, including investment funds, corporations, and financial institutions, to secure funding for industrial sector projects in various regions.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and analyze potential investment opportunities from Chinese markets for industrial sector companies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Chinese investors, including investment funds, corporations, and financial institutions.
Structure and negotiate investment deals, ensuring alignment with the expectations and regulatory requirements of Chinese financial markets.
Conduct market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to evaluate investment viab ility.
Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to develop compelling investment proposals.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on China-related investment trends and opportunities.
Represent the company at financial and industry events in China and other key investment
hubs.Ensure compliance with all relevant international and regional financial regulations.
Languages (Mandatory Requirements) :
Mandarin Chinese : It is a plus.
English : Advanced level.
Spanish : Advanced level.
Academic Background :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a rela
ted field.Master's degree or specialization in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Finance is preferred.
Professional Experience (Essential Requirements) :
Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or corporate finance.
Proven track record in securing and structuring investment deals with Chinese investors.
Strong understanding of China's financial ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks and investor expectations.
Experience working with industrial sector companies, including manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and execute investment strategies with minimal supervision.
