Risk Policy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Strategist to lead the development and maintenance of a decision-making support system for our credit policy.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and their impact on the credit policy framework.
  • Design and implement new rules and limit calculations in line with requirements.
  • Create software development tickets for bugs found.
  • Perform code reviews of team tasks to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Test and deliver credit policy changes, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Maintain comprehensive credit policy documentation, easily accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor credit policy performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from risk analysts, providing timely support.

System Development Expertise

  • Integrate the credit policy with internal and external services, ensuring data consistency.
  • Develop and implement scoring models to optimize credit decisions.
  • Refactor existing code to improve efficiency and maintainability.
  • Enhance system performance by optimizing database queries and reducing latency.
  • Improve logging and collection of technical metrics to facilitate troubleshooting.

    • Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on complex applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization, and joins), with expertise in query tuning.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
