Job Description
The Commissioning Specialist will oversee the execution of commissioning activities, ensuring new infrastructure is brought from construction to full operation. This role involves heavy travel and requires excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a high degree of familiarity with industrial gas systems and performance.
This position is responsible for supervising construction activities, executing commissioning tasks, ensuring documentation and reporting, coordinating with the project team, and maintaining safety and quality compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess an Associate's degree or vocational degree in engineering technology, highly skilled mechanic, and / or electrician, or other relevant field of study. Alternatively, a high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant work experience can be considered.
You must have superior communication and interpersonal skills, high-level skill with mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair, and industrial gas systems experience. Additionally, you should be able to diagnose system failures and isolate root cause, possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software for reporting and email correspondence.
