What are we looking for?

We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer, working close to one of our main clients in the banking sector. A hands-on QA engineer whose primary objective is to review, assess, define, and execute the QA roadmap to improve unit, integration and functional test coverage for Java / React and Python based applications. The role involves close collaboration with Software Engineers and Business Analysts to understand what should be tested and how, independent execution of testing activities to ensure timely detection and resolution of quality issues, and increased transparency over the quality level of development deliverables. Direct reporting to the Software Development Lead.

Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be

• Testing backend services, frontend screens and data integrations
• Functional testing
• Manual and automated Unit testing
• Automated / integrated in the CICD pipelines
• Boundary testing
• Performance and stress testing
• Regression testing

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Work Schedule

Business hours. No intensive working days on Fridays or during summer.
