Our client is an international corporate finance advisory firm specializing in sustainable finance. They are newly established, and especially their equities team is dedicated to advising early-stage companies focused on impact, future technologies, and achieving net-zero emissions. The firm is also successfully building M&A and Real Estate Banking teams.

Our client now includes eight Partners – senior and highly experienced bankers located in Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Johannesburg – who bring a quality client base and established relationships.

It also boasts an Advisory Board comprised of highly recognized individuals able to ‘open doors’, provide substance, and sage advice.

For context, current Advisory Board members / Senior Advisors of this rapidly growing firm include a former Chair of one of the largest mobile phone operators, a former head of the technology practice of a top-tier global investment bank, a former UK Cabinet Minister, and a former Assistant Secretary of the United States.

In a short amount of time, our client has built a firm with a formidable international information and execution network, deep experience in sustainable finance, and an already loyal client base. Additionally, the firm is now expanding its industry-agnostic Debt Advisory and M&A teams, which are already gaining impressive traction.

To support their rapid expansion, they are seeking Senior Advisors who can provide helpful introductions, context, valuable insights, and sage advice.

For the right individual, there could also be a wider leadership role within the firm, which values cooperation, teamwork, and cross-fertilization.

MISSION –

To support their expansion, our client seeks highly experienced, well-connected, and influential individuals to join as Senior Advisors and / or their Advisory Board to guide strategic direction and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic counsel and guidance to the firm's leadership team.

Leverage your extensive network to open doors and facilitate key stakeholder connections.

Represent the firm as a thought leader and speaker at industry events.

Contribute to business development efforts.

Offer insights based on your deep understanding of corporate environments, international experience, and market dynamics.

Enhance the firm’s overall profile.

REQUIREMENTS –

Proven track record as (or) a Board Director, senior politician, or a leadership role within a top-tier global investment bank, or as a C-level Executive within a large corporation.

Stay informed about developments in your geography and broader international trends.

Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.

A 'seen it, done it' mentality, with a history of successfully navigating complex business challenges.

A passion for being part of something new and a desire to monetize your network, reputation, and access.

COMPENSATION

The majority of your compensation will be directly tied to deal origination and successful deal completion. For the right individual, there may be a nominal monthly fee and / or an equity stake in this rapidly growing corporate finance firm, which could lead to Partner payouts.
