Principal Mechanical Solutions Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a mechanical solutions expert to lead the development and execution of industrial energy projects. This critical role requires strong expertise in thermal systems, rotating equipment, structural integration, and design coordination.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing mechanical packages, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring all designs meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities :

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical discipline across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
• Define and plan mechanical scope : tanks, rotating equipment, insulation, trace heating, skids, and auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate mechanical and structural designs with process, electrical, instrumentation, and civil disciplines.
• Review and validate structural calculations and designs provided by third parties.
• Assess integration of structures with plant equipment, piping, tanks, and access platforms.
• Identify and resolve interferences or conflicts between disciplines.
• Plan tasks and resources, monitor progress, and report status to project management.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables.
• Supervise vendors and subcontractors during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes.
