We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Spain.

✍️ WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Install, configure, and maintain databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, MariaDB).
  • Provide daily database operations support (incidents, problem resolution, change management, user administration, security).
  • Monitor database health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to alerts.
  • Perform capacity planning, storage management, and database optimization.
  • Manage and monitor database backups, patching, and recovery procedures.
  • Optimize space and performance efficiency across databases.
  • Create and maintain system and operational documentation.
  • Provide technical consultancy on database-related issues.
  • Support disaster recovery and continuity planning.

🧐 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of DBA experience (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, MariaDB).
  • Native Spanish Language
  • Advanced English Language
  • Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, and backup strategies.
  • Experience in incident, problem, and change management.
  • Hands-on experience with database patching and recovery.
  • Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work on-call and support critical incidents.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with database upgrades and migrations.
  • Knowledge of Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and testing.

  • Workplace : Madrid (On-Site) + Remote work
  • Work Schedule : 12x5 rotating shifts from 7am to 7pm
