Software Developer

Overview Our vision is to empower people through languages and make learning a language easy by combining AI-powered courses with feedback from our global community of native speakers and lesson content designed for real life.

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced software developer to work on our flagship application, shipping to over 40 countries throughout the world in over 10 languages. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing features that help users learn better and faster.

Working closely with our UX team, you will ensure that our app is both functional and visually appealing. You will also be responsible for learning and adapting to new technologies and industry standards.

Our technology stack includes Clean Architecture principle and MVVM. We use an agile development methodology and believe in continuous improvement. Our code base is primarily written in Kotlin, and we make use of Dependency Injection and libraries such as Retrofit, Hilt, Coroutines, Room, Mockk, and others.

• Key Responsibilities Design and implement features that help users learn better and faster;

• Requirements Experience with Android development using Kotlin;
• Strong understanding of clean architecture and MVVM;
