English Teacher

Overview Maxus Formación is a steadily growing language school in Barakaldo (15-minute metro from Bilbao) . We specialise in English for kids, teens, adults, and businesses . We are an Oxford Test of English Examination Centre . We’re hiring part-time English teachers to join our core team for the next academic year.

Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons for all ages and levels , tailoring them to meet the needs of learners.

Prepare students for the Oxford Test of English exams when required.

Provide ongoing assessment and feedback that supports progress.

Maintain a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to planning / admin tasks, and uphold academy standards.

Requirements EU passport (right to work in Spain).

C2-level command of English (CEFR) across all skills.

Recognised teaching qualification ( CELTA, DELTA, CertTESOL, DipTESOL ).

Minimum 1 year teaching experience across age groups (strong plus : ages 3–8 and Cambridge exam prep ).

Dynamic, approachable, flexible, and enthusiastic; able to plan and prepare lessons professionally.

Pay & Contract Contract length : 9 months ( mid-September to mid-June )

Hours : 7 / 10 teaching hours / week , Mon–Fri

Core teaching window : ~ 15 : 00–21 : 30 ; occasional mornings for business clients.

Salary : €1,250–€1,500 gross / month (for 24 teaching hours)

Paid holidays during Christmas and Easter breaks.
