About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data-driven decision-making and machine learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, reliable data pipelines and architectures

Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation

Build and maintain data workflows using DBT , PySpark , and Databricks

Work with Azure Cloud infrastructure to deploy and manage data solutions

Collaborate with data scientists to support ML model deployment and monitoring

Utilize version control tools such as Git and implement CI / CD practices

Leverage Python libraries like pandas and numpy for data processing

Required Qualifications

4–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries

Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services

Experience with Databricks and DBT

1+ years of experience with PySpark

Proficiency in Python and commonly used data libraries (e.g., pandas , numpy )

Familiarity with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn , PyTorch , or Keras

Experience working with Git for version control

Understanding of distributed computing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of software design patterns

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization

Familiarity with the Poetry framework for Python dependency management

Exposure to CI / CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps

Experience working in Databricks notebooks for data exploration

Understanding of how to deploy, operationalize, and monitor ML models

Experience with prompt engineering in AI / LLM contexts

Ability to automate workflows using bash or Python scripting
