We are looking for an enthusiastic CAPEX Accountant to join our dynamic Adalvo team. This position offers an opportunity to well-suited candidates to join a growing, fast paced energetic environment and culture.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

This CAPEX Accountant will provide support to the finance department by assisting in posting, performing reconciliations, and general accounting for ongoing R&D projects.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This role will report directly to the R&D Senior Finance Manager and will support all accounting functions and processes, where necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this role include the following :

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of R&D expenses in the company's general ledger system.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, practices, and standards related to Intangible Assets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely CAPEX reporting, while driving cost-efficiency and process improvements across R&D activities.
• Assist in maintaining Intangible Asset Register, including assistance with impairment testing and reports.
• Assist in CAPEX budgeting process, including preparation of analysis, reports, and ad-hoc activities as may be required.
• Issuing recharges to customers in a timely manner.
• Assist with statutory audit purposes.
• Assist Treasury departments regarding AP-related processes.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure efficient service PO processing and help shape accounting policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Follow relevant GDP & GMP required related to distribution and importation activities.
• Support team continuity by backing up colleagues during absences, promoting cross-training, and mentoring new members.
