THE ROLE

As a Principal Consultant at Syniti, you will lead multiple project teams to deliver best‑in‑class data solutions — from migration and transformation to data quality improvement and governance. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through all phases of the data lifecycle, while also mentoring junior consultants and helping develop Syniti’s methodologies and tools.

You’ll combine technical expertise, project leadership, and strategic insight to ensure our clients gain measurable value from their data assets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

After an initial training period, you’ll be expected to :

Project Leadership

Lead and manage large‑scale, complex data migration or data quality projects from design through to deployment.

Own full project management responsibility, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and identifying new opportunities for value creation.

Data Delivery & Execution

Apply Syniti’s Data Quality methodology across projects.

Use the Syniti Knowledge Platform to connect to client systems, map data landscapes, and profile datasets.

Develop and execute data transformation, and quality rules aligned with business requirements.

Create and maintain data load programs, reports, and dashboards to monitor quality and progress.

Conduct end‑to‑end data loads, reconciliations, and validations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Consulting & Collaboration

Work closely with functional consultants and key business stakeholders to gather requirements and define data standards.

Translate complex data issues into business‑friendly insights and actionable recommendations.

Coach and mentor Data Consultants and Analysts, supporting their development and performance.

Contribute to refining Syniti’s best practices, methodologies, and tools — driving continuous improvement and innovation.

WHAT IT TAKES

A keen eye for detail and a methodical, analytical mindset.

Strong understanding of data structures, and data quality management.

Hands‑on experience with data management tools such as :

• ETL : Syniti Knowledge Platform, SAP Data Services, etc.
• Data Quality / Profiling : SAP Information Steward, Informatica DQ, Talend, Ataccama, Trillium, or similar.
• BI / Visualization : Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.

Knowledge of SAP data domains (customers, vendors, materials, finance) is highly desirable.

Experience leading client‑facing projects in a consulting environment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complex data challenges for diverse audiences.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Data, IT, Business, or related fields.

Passion for continuous learning and innovation in data management.
