We are seeking an experienced Retail Project Manager to oversee high-profile commercial interior projects, with a strong focus on retail developments in the USA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience managing retail projects and will be knowledgeable about permits processes across different U.S. states, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Barcelona, Spain, with flexibility for remote work on select days per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of retail interior projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Act as the primary client liaison, managing expectations and project goals effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and construction professionals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring accountability and timely reporting.
- Navigate and manage the permitting process across different U.S. states to ensure compliance.
- Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to maintain project success.
- Conduct regular project meetings and ensure seamless communication between clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Support project teams with MEP-FP knowledge and construction supervision expertise.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project Manager in retail projects (mandatory).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.Strong knowledge of permit processes and regulations across different U.S. states (highly preferred).Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD).Additional proficiency in Spanish (required).PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing international or multi-site projects.Knowledge of MEP-FP systems and construction supervision (highly preferred).Availability for travel as needed.What We Offer
