Homologation Engineer, Optical Laboratory

We are seeking an Electronic or Optical Engineer to join our Homologation Passenger Car Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the approval of projects related to homologation of components such as Indirect vision, Lighting / Light-signalling, and vehicle approval testing.

Key responsibilities include :

• Global homologation of lighting and light-signalling devices according to ECE Regulations, FMVSS108 / CMVSS108 (USA / Canada), AIS (India), Taiwan, CCC China, Korea.
• Testing of indirect vision systems, including Camera-monitor systems (CMS) and Rear-view mirrors.
• Conducting vehicle approval testing for indirect vision systems and lighting / signalling devices.
• Studying and developing international standards for new laboratory testing of CMS and vehicle systems such as AFS, ADB, AHB, ESS, RECAS.
• Laboratory testing of automotive lighting and light-signalling systems.
• Preparing technical reports and verifying documentation for approvals.
