Software Engineer (Trading and Risk)

A Software Engineer is needed to craft a brand new modelling platform for traders, Risk Managers and Analysts to build model driven business insights, risk indicators, valuations, optimisation and forecasts.

This role requires expertise in constructing a responsive and adaptive User Interface, mastering the art of dynamic component generation, real-time communication, and addressing the complexities of an ever-changing digital environment.

Create intuitive and responsive UIs using advanced design patterns.

Implement new features and migrate existing models and tools to the new framework.

Manage state with finesse, leveraging the power of RxJs and Context API.

Skilfully adjust to evolving project requirements.

Excel in implementing real-time data exchange between the backend and frontend.

Ensure robustness and reliability through comprehensive testing.

Embrace principles of continuous integration and delivery for maximum efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building Trading and Modelling tools in financial environments, a proven track record in React development, and knowledge of Cloud DevOps CI / CD Foundations.

About the Role

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need :

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Proven track record in building Trading and Modelling tools in financial environments.

Demonstrable expertise in React development, State management with Context API.

RxJs Pro : comfortable with Reactive Programming and State Management using Reactive Extensions.

Cloud DevOps CI / CD Foundations : ability to work in an environment with state-of-the-art tooling and principles.

English Proficiency : seamless collaboration in our global team.

Excellent communication skills : liaising directly with Business users, Product Owners, Developers, and designers.
