- Performing internal and external analysis, generating opportunity proposals, and providing input into global opportunity assessment.
- Defining and implementing purchasing strategies and executing negotiations with suppliers.
- Mobilizing the business to implement category plans.
- Providing negotiation results and impact within the organization.
- Ensuring up-to-date purchasing data and related information in systems.
- Building and developing the supply base to meet organizational requirements.
- Managing suppliers professionally and proactively.
- Ensuring legal frameworks and guidelines are applied in tenders, negotiations, and contracts.
- Leading resolution of escalation issues with suppliers.
- Setting key performance indicators.
