IPS is an international company with in-house Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries, Automation and Architecture. We are looking for an Intermediate Project Manager in our Madrid, Spain office. The Project Manager defines technical solutions and coordinates technical alignment on a variety of equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse client base of manufacturers. He / she maintains and oversees parts of or the complete project process; you will join the Buildings unit, responsible for managing EPCM building projects within the Real Estate sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities during all project phases : conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage and ensure the timely delivery of engineering packages and interfaces with other disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical).
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with project management.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and subcontractors.
• Conduct or support technical and commercial vendor evaluations and procurement activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance during site construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage projects under BIM methodology.
• Coordinate sustainability and consulting projects.
• Act as an owner representative for clients, with direct management of contractors and internal teams.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and trainees.
