Airbus Defence and Space invites applications for the role of A400M AC0 Simulator Lead Engineer at its Getafe facility.
Job Description
Within the A400M Program's Development and Test Environment domain, the simulator manager will act as the interface between simulator users and the development team, ensuring simulator configuration meets test requirements, coordinating test planning, and supporting simulator acceptance and validation processes.
Responsibilities
Act as an interface for simulator users.
Assist users in preparing test sessions and optimize the efficiency of simulator sessions during tests.
Ensure simulator configuration complies with test needs and manage all limitations (A / C0 particularities, warnings, etc.).
Transfer a summary of "test means" needs (corrections, evolution) to the Simulator Lead Engineer, specifying the requirement date.
Plan test activities in accordance with feedback from the Simulator Lead Engineer and perform simulator acceptance (overall V&V) before delivery to testers.
Coordinate with stakeholders (SLE, SFC, Tests Strategist) across activities such as Simulator Session, Simulator Support and Operation, Simulation Standard, Working Party, FIB simulation package, Mock‐up Support, Simulator Campaign, Environment models, Tools session, Means Maintenance support session, Flight Loop validation, Simulator Management Assistance, Cockpit tests, and Multi‐system tests.
Skills
Previous experience in AIRBUS A / C0 Simulators is mandatory.
Chartered Engineer Aeronautical / Mechanical degree or equivalent.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Good English written and verbal skills.
The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Proactive, problem‐solving and decision‐making capabilities.
Good leadership skills and assertiveness.
