The project

As a Planning Specialist you will be r esponsible for managing and coordinating procurement activities within an organization. They ensure that goods and services are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies. Tasks include processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

What will the role entail?

• Assist in processing purchase orders and tracking order statuses to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Support the procurement team in maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and pricing
• Participate in the evaluation of supplier performance and provide insights for improvement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure alignment with inventory management
• Maintain organized documentation of purchasing activities and supplier contracts
