Role Overview
At Indra Deimos, we’re on a mission to revolutionize space technology. With projects for the European Space Agency (ESA) and the commercial market, we develop cutting‑edge solutions for space systems. Join a team where innovation meets excellence, and your contributions shape the future of space exploration.
What’s the challenge?
As a GNC / AOCS Engineer, you will be integrated into our GNC / AOCS Competence Centre within the Flight Systems Business Unit. You will support new growth areas in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), including Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS), and Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR).
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and validating AOCS and FDIR algorithms for Earth‑observation, interplanetary, and ADR / IOS satellites
- Designing, implementing, and validating GNC and FDIR algorithms for satellites, launchers, and re‑entry vehicles
- Specifying and supporting the procurement of sensors and actuators for GNC and AOCS systems
- Model‑based design implementation of GNC / AOCS algorithms
- Designing, implementing, and testing simulators
- Simulating dynamic systems and creating mathematical models
- Specifying and validating GNC / AOCS solutions
- Analyzing and making trade‑offs for hardware solutions
- Interfacing with the overall system team
- Managing technical tasks and team responsibilities
