Offer Description

(EN) : Research and development tasks related to the integration and evaluation of quantum-network systems for its scalability, in the MadQCI network. This includes i) integration of general-purpose quantum network systems, both computing and telecommunications; ii) integration of more specific quantum-network systems, such as optical systems, OTN and OTDR systems; and iii) evaluating and documentating the performance of the network systems integrated, in the context of quantum-netowork scalability.

Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills / Qualifications

• Must know how to implement typical information and telecommunications systems in enterprise or institutional networks, e.g., servers with hypervision and Ethernet switching.
• Must be able to use basic system administration tools, e.g., log generation and analysis, and network diagnostics, such as ping, iperf or SNMP protocol.
• Experience with specific quantum network systems such as QKD systems or synchronisation systems, as well as demonstrable experience in this field, will be valued.
• Knowledge of the methodological and documentation bases for scientific research, as well as demonstrable experience in this field, will be valued.
• Knowledge of the methods and practices commonly used in university or similar research and development laboratories, as well as demonstrable experience in this field, will be valued.
• Soft skills will be valued : self-management, teamwork, communication, etc.
