In a nutshell
Wikifarmer is on a mission to empower farmers worldwide by providing access to knowledge and fair, open markets. We’re building tech that has real impact, and we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who’s eager to build products that scale and matter.
From crafting responsive UIs in React to designing performant Laravel APIs, you’ll work across the stack to ship features end-to-end. You’ll own your code from development to deployment, running services on Docker and AWS, and experimenting with AI tools that improve how we work. As we break up the monolith and move toward a microservices architecture, you’ll help shape the systems and practices that will power our next stage of growth.
If you're a builder at heart, comfortable navigating complexity, and thrive in a collaborative, startup environment, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll be doing
- Build responsive and accessible UIs using React, Tailwind CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services with PHP and Laravel, writing clean, testable code
- Translate designs and product requirements into interactive, user-focused features
- Manage state using tools like Redux or Context API, and integrate with RESTful APIs
- Own DevOps tasks end-to-end using Docker, CI / CD pipelines, and AWS infrastructure
- Monitor and debug across services using logs and metrics to ensure performance and reliability
- Collaborate daily with PMs, designers, and fellow engineers to align on priorities and deliver features that make a difference
- Contribute to documentation, internal knowledge sharing, and feature experiments using AI / LLMs
