Full Stack Software Developer – Computational Biology

Nostrum Biodiscovery is a biotech company partnering with leading pharmaceutical companies across Europe and the US. We specialize in rational drug design, with deep expertise in understanding and meeting the needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to design intuitive GUIs, integrate tools into Horus, an open workflow manager co-developed with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, and deploy our technology in high-performance computing (HPC) environments for drug discovery projects.

You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team with software developers, biochemical modellers, and industry partners, building tools that directly support computational biochemistry workflows for leading pharma companies and academia.

What you’ll do

• Develop GUIs, interactive plots, and scientific dashboards.
• Design and integrate front-end (React, TypeScript) with back-end APIs (Flask / FastAPI).
• Build deployment workflows for HPC and cloud.
• Collaborate with scientists to improve usability and performance.
• Develop unit tests for UI components and graphical interface integrations.
• Create and maintain documentation for both users and developers.
