Indirect Tax Specialist

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing Indirect Taxes (VAT, Customs, and Excise) across various EMEA countries, including Spain, Portugal, France, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Italy.

Responsibilities

The role involves preparing and submitting indirect tax returns, conducting monthly reviews and reconciliations of VAT accounts, providing support during internal and external audits, and participating in projects assessing tax implications across various business processes. It also requires maintaining internal controls and ensuring that systems and procedures are updated in response to legislative or business changes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Indirect Taxes combined with solid financial understanding.
• Experience working in an international company, Big4, or Shared Service Center .
• SAP experience is a strong advantage.
