Frontend React Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer (React) to join our team. This is a stable, long-term role with direct impact on the design, scalability, and performance of a high-traffic international digital platform.

  • Location : Barcelona (hybrid work model)
  • Contract : Permanent, full-time

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-visibility projects that drive the user experience. You'll collaborate closely with backend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless, performant, and maintainable web applications in a modern cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, test, and deploy web applications using React and extending and maintaining microservices.
  • Collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure scalability and high performance.
  • Apply best practices in testing, code reviews, and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Work with modern infrastructure based on containers and cloud services, ensuring engineering ownership and flexibility.
  • Operate in a cross-functional agile team with strong QA and DevOps collaboration.

    • Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you should have :

  • Solid experience with JavaScript / TypeScript / React.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and testing skills with Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with good programming practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Clean, maintainable code and collaborative mindset.
  • English proficiency for collaboration in international teams.
