As we continue our journey of steady and thoughtful growth, we are looking for a senior commercial leader to shape our global sales strategy and strengthen our presence across key markets and channels.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and internationally experienced Sales Director , based in Barcelona , to lead HEREU’s global commercial development with a primary focus on wholesale and full responsibility for our e-commerce business .

This is a key leadership role reporting directly to General Management. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in showroom-driven sales and international market development, along with the ability to lead a growing direct-to-consumer channel with a strong commercial lens. We’re looking for someone with a global mindset, confident working closely with founders, and eager to shape the long-term commercial direction of a design-led fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities

▸ Global Sales Strategy

  • Define and lead HEREU’s global sales strategy across wholesale and e-commerce, aligned with brand positioning and business goals.
  • Set seasonal sales targets and forecasts by region, collection and channel.
  • Identify new growth opportunities across established and emerging markets.
  • Maintain a selective and coherent distribution strategy in line with the brand’s identity.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive data-informed decision-making to optimise results.

▸ Wholesale & Showroom Sales

  • Lead seasonal sales campaigns in international showrooms (Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, etc.).
  • Build and nurture strong commercial relationships with top retailers and key market players.
  • Ensure a high-quality presence in each market through thoughtful account curation and brand alignment.
  • Oversee the production and execution of sales materials and B2B tools.
  • Represent HEREU at key industry events and seasonal market moments.
  • ▸ E-commerce Channel Leadership

  • Oversee e-commerce as a strategic commercial channel, working closely with the digital, content and operations teams.
  • Define sales strategy, launch planning, product selection and calendar coordination.
  • Ensure consistency between DTC and wholesale in pricing, positioning and seasonal rhythm.
  • Monitor e-commerce KPIs and contribute to sustainable growth strategies.
  • ▸ Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Design to bring market feedback into collection development.
  • Coordinate with Production and Logistics to ensure timely deliveries and operational excellence.
  • Align with Marketing on product launches, campaigns and commercial messaging across channels.
  • ▸ Team Management & Commercial Operations

  • Lead the sales and commercial operations teams, providing structure, guidance and leadership.
  • Optimise tools, workflows and processes to support seamless execution of seasonal cycles.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • ▸ Insights & Reporting

  • Produce structured reporting by region, client and product category.
  • Use CRM and analytics tools to segment and develop client base.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, industry trends and benchmarks to guide strategic planning.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in international commercial roles within the fashion industry , ideally in luxury or designer-led brands.
  • Strong experience in showroom-based wholesale sales and global account management.
  • Proven track record managing and growing e-commerce as a revenue channel .
  • Experience across key international markets : Europe, North America, Asia , etc.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable working directly with founders and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English (working language); other languages are a plus.
  • Based in Barcelona or open to relocation.
