Overview Dallington School Madrid requires a Head of Ed Tech and ICT and Computer Science Lead Teacher with experience in IGCSEs and A-Levels. The candidate shall teach ICT in KS3, and Computer Science in KS4 and KS5, and will be willing to develop and lead the Ed Tech Department. Start date : 05 October 2025. Apply by : 30 September 2025. Responsibilities Technology Integration in Teaching & Learning – Support teachers in integrating educational technology (EdTech) into lessons; advise on best practices for digital learning tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, interactive whiteboards, AI tools); encourage blended learning and flipped classroom approaches.
ICT and Computer Science Teaching – Teach ICT in KS3 and Computer Science in KS4 and KS5.
Digital Strategy & Curriculum Development – Contribute to the school\'s EdTech strategy; help design digital literacy and computing curricula; ensure AI, coding, and emerging technologies are included in subject areas; research and recommend new EdTech solutions.
Online Safety & Digital Citizenship – Promote e-safety policies; teach students about responsible social media use, online security, and digital ethics; work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on e-safety concerns.
Leading Innovation & Digital Culture – Encourage student digital leaders to promote tech use; organize EdTech events, competitions, and showcases; keep up with emerging trends in education technology.
Essential Requirements Qualifications – Certified teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) and Computer Science or ICT / Engineering Degree; native English speaker.
Experience – At least 5 years of experience teaching ICT and / or Computer Science in secondary education and preparing IGCSEs and A Levels.
