Controller (M / F / D)

A leading industrial group in the automotive sector is looking for a Cost Controller to join its Finance team. The company operates in a highly technical environment, providing services in assembly, painting, and welding for key automotive manufacturers. The position plays a critical role in monitoring production costs, supporting financial decision-making, and ensuring alignment between operational and financial performance.

Main Responsibilities

Control and analyze manufacturing and operational costs, including materials, labor, and overheads.

Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cost variance analyses.

Perform monthly closing tasks related to cost accounting and production orders.

Monitor and reconcile inventory valuation, work-in-progress, and fixed assets.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.

Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives and efficiency improvements.

Generate regular reports and KPIs for management and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and internal control procedures.

Requirements

~ Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering.

~3–5 years of experience in cost controlling or industrial controlling, ideally in automotive, assembly, paint, or welding environments.

~ Solid knowledge of SAP (CO, FI, and MM modules).

~ Fluent in English (written and spoken).

~ Advanced Excel and strong analytical and reporting skills.

~ Hands-on attitude, proactive mindset, and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and production teams.

~ Strong attention to detail, organization, and process-oriented thinking.
