Senior QA Engineer – SaaSAre you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who thrives in an Agile, fast-moving SaaS environment?Do you enjoy taking ownership, driving automation, and improving quality processes from within?Our client, a global technology platform driving innovation in IT and data intelligence, is expanding its Quality Engineering team and is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help shape the next generation of scalable, high-performing SaaS solutions.The Opportunity : You will join a cross-functional engineering team, collaborating daily with developers and product owners. As a hands-on QA Engineer, you will lead automation strategy, embed quality throughout the development cycle, and help evolve the client’s quality culture.This is a role for someone who loves to experiment, automate, and improve, not just test. You will have the freedom to innovate, mentor others, and propose process enhancements that make a real impact.What You’ll Do : Define, develop, and maintain automated test suites (Cypress, Playwright)Collaborate with developers to ensure quality is embedded from the startManage bug triage and ensure full coverage across user storiesAnalyse complex SaaS architectures (microservices, MongoDB, Clickhouse) to identify risksLead initiatives to improve tooling, frameworks, and test efficiencyAct as a QA advocate, mentoring peers and championing best practicesWhat You’ll Bring : 4+ years’ QA or Automation experience in SaaS or microservices environmentsStrong JavaScript skills with exposure to C# or JavaProven experience with Cypress or Playwright for automationSolid understanding of CI / CD and Agile methodologiesExcellent English communication and collaboration skillsAutonomous, proactive mindset with strong ownership and initiativePreferred : Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB, Clickhouse) and mentoring or QA leadership exposure.Why Join : Be part of a forward-thinking, high-growth tech company at an exciting stage of integration and scaleWork alongside talented engineers who value autonomy, innovation, and continuous learningHybrid model : typically 2–3 office days per weekCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity for career progression whether you see yourself as a future technical leader or people managerKey Information : Job Title : Senior QA EngineerLocation : Alicante, SpainWork Policy : Hybrid (2–3 office days per week)Salary : Competitive + benefitsBenefits : Hybrid working, bonuses, learning and development support, flexible working environmentConsortia is a specialist recruitment agency with consultants focused on global roles within UX, Product, Data, and Engineering markets.
