SAP Integration Consultant - English speaking - Barcelona, Spain (60% Remote / 40% Onsite). Permanent Job. Salary : up to €72,000 / annum plus benefits.

Our client in Barcelona, Spain is seeking an SAP Integration (PO, CPI, or BTP) Consultant to translate business challenges into effective integration solutions with a strong focus on governance.

The client works on a variety of projects, including SAP S / 4HANA migrations and hybrid cloud architectures connecting SAP with Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, and industry-specific platforms. Their solutions have significantly reduced data processing times, accelerated ERP harmonization, and decreased integration maintenance costs. The portfolio includes API-led supply chain integrations, real-time finance data consolidation, and multi-entity system harmonizations, all designed to optimize business processes, enable seamless data flow, and support scalable growth.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with SAP PO, CPI, or BTP Integration Suite
  • Strong experience in API & Event Management
  • Extensive knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and / or GroovyScript
  • Good understanding of CI / CD concepts
  • Strong consultancy and integration skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design integration requirements focusing on governance
  • Design integration solutions and select appropriate vendors
  • Document the integration architecture, ensuring security, compliance, and governance are incorporated from the beginning
  • Build and configure interfaces in SAP middleware
  • Set up connectivity (RFCs, SFTP channels, API endpoints)
  • Perform data mapping and transformation (XML, JSON, EDI)
  • Own the go-live process — activate integrations and validate initial runs
  • Produce clear technical specifications, interface guides, and operational documentation
