We are looking for recent graduates from
- different disciplines
- interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and
relating.
- The selection process will be during October 2025 until February 2026.
- What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an
- exclusive program (Discover)
- designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as
professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to
- Discover
- the skills most in demand today. It will be combined
- with an 11 month internship
- at Airbus
- in an
area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background. The start of the internship will be in early March 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all
purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h / week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
- Internship Job Description :
- Tasks to be carried out by the student.
- Contribute to Ariane 6 Launcher Programe industrial ramp up through application of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) streamlined processes
- Develop and maintain digital framework for industrialización dynamics (workflows-PERT, Allocated Times, Line Balancing; Value Stream Mapping)
- Support Ariane 6 ME unit in Plant routines (Production planning, deviation management and Go Meetings) and perform shopfloor support for Production findings. -
Knowledge to be acquired by the student.
- Product Lifecycle Management for Space Launchers
- Production Flow Lines Industrial Design
- Manufacturing Techniques for composite materials, machining and aerospace assembly
- Machinery-assisted assembly and manual assembly processes.
- Quality standards for aerospace products
- Manufacturing Engineering fundamentals : co-Design / Industrialization / Workpreparation / SF support
- Industrial Plant governance (dynamics, routines, indicators and stakeholders)
- Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Space products portfolio
- Within which projects or areas the internship will be carried out.
- Space Systems Production & AIT Getafe
- Launchers Product Line, specially but not limited to Ariane 6 structures : ESR (Equipped Solid Rocket booster) , IFS (Main body Interface Structures) and LVA (Launch Vehicle Adapter)
- Tools to be used :
- Google Workspace
- SAP for Production
- CATIA / Delmia
- Required skills
As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience :
- Degree in Aerospace or Industrial Engineering
- Level B1 Spanish; Level B2 English.
- General knowledge in Industrial Organization, Space products, Manufacturing Technologies,
- Skills valued :
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
Ability to work in complex technical environment.
Digital mindset
Self-motioned and motivated for working in Manufacturing and / or Space environment
